"Suspicions" 20" x 30" Oil on canvas (SOLD)

Well when I encounter some calves like this I do wonder what they are thinking, they are so much more curious at this age. They always tend to look at each other as if to say what do you make of this guy?

"Tenang" 16" x 16" Oil on canvas(SOLD)

Many thanks to Steve Wilson for the reference photo here. This is my first 'big cat'. I wanted to paint it for Chinese New Year as this is the year of the tiger, but Im really bad with my timekeeping!
I found a handy little thing to see what your Chinese sign of the zodiac is (for those of you who dont know). All you do is put your birthdate in the box and it tells you what your sign is. Then read the characteristics of your sign. I have tried this about a dozen times and I can tell you its really accurate!
So go on just for a bit of fun click here And dont forget to tell me if it works.
By the way Im a monkey... so all those people were right;o)

"Mr Tibbles" 8" x 8" Oil on canvas

This is my parents cat that they have now tamed. He came from the mountains and they fed it scraps and he kept coming back for more. Must have liked my mums cooking....

Just to mention my website was offline a bit last week. There was a problem with the gallery which I have now changed. I have also changed a few other things including the colour scheme to make it a bit warmer. If anyone runs onto any problems with my site please let me know.

"Chin up!" 24" x 24" Oil on canvas (SOLD)

This is another pig from Whirlow Farm. I must thank them because over the years they have always been happy to show me around and humour me as I snap away) They have also taught me a bit about pigs. So I guess its obvious what hog hair brushes are made from... but it was new to me that pigs dont sweat. So all that mud theyre often covered in is to help cool them down and stop them getting sunburnt!
